              Civil engineering is a prominent and oldest branch of engineering which deals with buildings, bridges, roads, railways, water supply, sanitary, development of townships and other infrastructural development. Due to liberalisation policy of government, many infrastructure projects like golden quadrilateral, national highway constructions and transport sector development have the need of civil engineers.Analytical and logical abilities and liking for the profession are the essential requirements.

 STRENGTH OF THE DEPARTMENT:

Faculties of the department are well qualified and also have excellent experience in the field of teaching. The department has the state of art laboratories and computational facilities to offer good practical training as per the academic requirements.

Our department is aiming to provide world class infrastructure and so has taken initiative in setting up different laboratory for different subjects like survey practice, hydraulics, concrete technology, computer aided drawing etc. Department also has the required systems and application software’s to cater the needs of conduction of laboratories. Precise instruments like total station, theodolite, levelling instruments etc are available for survey practice.
